The Living American Flag

Who: Elementary School-Aged Children from the 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades in the mid-Atlantic area form a "living" American Flag - the Star-Spangled Banner.
What: An annual culminating event of an elementary school year. Students are introduced to Flag history, etiquette, and citizenship subjects using the Foundation Education Resource Manuals for teachers and civic and youth organization leaders.
Where: Locations change annually. Counties/Cities are selected by the committee, who then charge those counties/cities to select a school.
When:

May 19, 20, & 21, 2009
